All Saints Church

West Ewell

Children and Young People

All Saints provides Sunday morning activities for babies, children and young people on Sundays during term time, except for the first Sunday of the month when we have our Worship for All service.

Creche

A crčche is available for the under 3s where the babies and toddlers are cared for by members of All Saints, with toys suitable for their age.

JC - Junior Church

If you are between the age of 3 and 11 and enjoy lots of fun and laughter then JC's is for you.

We meet at 10am in the community hall and our purpose is to support the children as they start their journey of faith, learning about Jesus in a fun, exciting and safe environment.

We use a mixture of teaching, prayer, craft activities, cooking and fun worship songs.

Each session is based on a theme i.e. the good shepherd, feeding the 5000, doubting Thomas. All children are welcomed and join together for a story and prayers. The group then splits into 2 groups – age 3-8 and 8-11 for their own activities.

At the end of the session the groups come together to share what they have learned before going into Church for a blessing.

Pathfinders

Any young person from age 11 – 14 is welcome. We meet in the Webber Hall (next to the Church) for an opportunity to discover the challenge of being a Christian today through Bible-based discussions and other activities.

About once a month Pathfinders has a film night, and get away once a year for a long weekend to just chill and have a fun time together.

BOG FC

(Badly Organised Group for Christ)

BOG FC was introduced in January 2007 as part of the 4TY initiative for young people aged 14 to 18.  The aim of the group is to allow young people to meet in a relaxed environment, allowing them to express and develop their faith.

We have committed members who take a full part in sessions and church life.  Sessions are twice monthly, with the other Sundays in church.  At present we are using the NOOMA DVD’s and youthwork resources as discussion material.  We also run socials to Charrington Bowl for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

Future plans for BOG FC include further discussions, socials and the possibility of a young people's home group to spend more time on bible study.  We hope to welcome new members to BOG FC in the near future.

Some children and young people prefer to come to church without wanting to belong to a group.  This isn't a problem.

SEEDLINGS

Seedlings is our group which welcomes children under five with their carers.

We meet on alternate Wednesday mornings from 9.30am to 11.00am in The Webber Hall and charge just 20p per child per session.

While their carers have a chance to chat over a cup of tea or coffee, the little ones have the chance to play with a selection of toys
