Sunday Services
Below are our regular Sunday Services. At other times of the year such as Easter and Christmas we have extra and special services. Please have a look at the Special Events section or the Whats On page to see what is happening.
Regular Sunday Worship
Sunday
morning services are at 10am, unless
it is a café church week then the service always includes communion, sung
worship, Bible readings, prayers and a talk. The service lasts about 75 minutes
and is always followed by refreshments in the Hall afterwards. Everybody is welcome!
During this service we have provision for all our children and young people. Our smallest members are welcome to stay with their parents in Church.
For
children 3 and over there is provision in our main hall and for those of
secondary school age their group meets in the Webber Hall. For
more details on all our children and youth provision please see the separate
pages.
On
the 3rd Sunday of the month we have a service at 8:45am, which is a quieter
service of Holy Communion with no music and just a short reflection. This is then followed by our very informal
café service.
Cafe Church
On the 3rd Sunday of the month we have a very informal service at 10am. This is a service for people of all ages but designed to be especially accessible for families. Every Café Church has some songs including action songs, a short talk and prayers, but not necessarily in the same order each week! Café church usually lasts for around an hour and it does not usually include communion. This service provides a great opportunity for us to catch up with one another, to meet new friends and to relax.
Evening Worship
Once a month on a Sunday evening we gather for a more informal service, where we meet for an hour to worship and listen to God. The service is based around sung worship with times of silence, times for testimonies, times for prayer and times for us to wait on God and see where the Holy Spirit leads us.
